The first time in the car production to have a collaboration between Aston Martin and Red Bull Racing to create a car entirely usable and enjoyable as a road car. The car's makers deserve the title of fastest street-legal car in the world for it. Its design by Adrian Newey,Red Bull Racing's Chief Technical Officer and the world's most successful F1 designer.

In March 2017, Aston Martin revealed that the car would be named Valkyrie, after the Norse mythological figure. According to Red Bull, the name was chosen to continue the tradition of Aston Martin "V" cars and to distinguish the vehicle as a high-performance car
Several manufacturers (other than Aston Martin and Red Bull) have taken part in the Valkyrie's construction, there was Cosworth, Ricardo, Rimac Automobili, Multimatic, Alcon, Bosch, Surface Transforms, Wipac, and Michelin.

The name has been in the works nearly as long as the car has, and it took thousands of work hours to nail it down. “You need the name to really tell the story of the car,” said Marek Reichman, chief creative officer for Aston Martin. “Those words evoke images, evoke what it should be. Before we even start to draw or sketch the car, we ask ‘what should the car be?’”

Engine & performance

According to Road and Track, the Valkyrie hyper-car will produce 1,130 horsepower, and almost all of it will come from the 6.5-liter V-12 engine that Aston Martin sourced from Cosworth.A Rimac-built hybrid battery system, which performs as a KERS system, is installed specially for the engine. The power is delivered by a 7-speed paddle-shift transmission constructed by Ricardo. The exhausts come out nearby the engine, similar to the ones from F1 race cars and the Porsche 918 Spyder.

Light weight

According to Road and Track, the British automaker went to rather extreme measures to keep the weight as light as possible.  Even the car’s metal Aston Martin badge was reportedly made to be as light as possible, described specifically as being less than a micron thick and weighing no more than a few milligrams.

Production cost

150 road cars are planned to be built, all at the price of US$3.2 million.A show car was first shown before the production car was, to give people some idea of what the car may look like. The design is nearly finished, currently in a near-production-ready form , there is a limited number of car will be built & it sold so the people who get the car are very limited.

The cabin is so small on the outside that prospective buyers are skeptical they can fit until they sit in a prototype. "We’ve been fighting for millimeters everywhere, but the battle has been worth it, as it’s been fantastic seeing customers try the interior buck for size," said Matt Hill, Aston Martin's creative director of interiors. the steering wheel is removable to provide for easier ingress and egress.carbon fiber wheel covers, a bigger front splitter, and a huge rear wing. The goal, they say, is to lap Silverstone Circuit as fast as an LMP1 car.

The interior has no gauge cluster, actually a collection of screens. By the left and right corners are the screens for the camera side mirrors. One LCD screen sits at the top of the center console, which may have a collection of live vehicle information, and regular vehicle controls, drivers will find all of the information about the car's systems. A screen is used on the race-inspired steering wheel and acts as the driver gauge cluster. Dials and switches sit beside the wheel screen to allow for easier changes without driving interruption. The seats are bucket variants, and have two seat belts for each car seat.

The exterior of the car is extremely aerodynamic for a sports car, with an extensively open underfloor that can fit an entire person, and is capable of producing 1,814 kg (4,000 lb) of downforce under acceleration, gaps from on top on the car (e.g. the front axle and the roof intake), and a large front splitter. The rims are also designed to maximize airflow.

Production of aston martin , valkyrie , in such along time for choosing the name , design ,as well as , there are many Participants & companies help in the production of valkyrie formula unique style car , besides , the collaboration between aston martin & red bull racing to create it , is a  big work , represents that when you think something is impossible & work on it until you find the way to make it work , even if you spend more time , hard work & more human power.

Is valkyrie cost high or low comparing with other formula one cars ? If we keep in mind companies that help build that product with aston martin is it well worth it to buy valkyrie ?

Do you think there new options to be added like a solar equipped sunroof or maybe what else  ? will the speed make a problem in case of adding a sunroof ?
